In cooperation with the Trade and Industry Association of the Canton of Bern, the Bernese SMEs and the Association of Employers in the Bern Region, this year's employers' event is dedicated to the current medical status of Long COVID symptoms and their effects on the ability of those affected to work. It is important to prevent long-term incapacity to work and to examine the benefits for those affected by Long COVID from a social security perspective.
In this event, Dr. med. Lara Diem, Senior Physician for Neurology at Inselspital Bern, Prof. Dr. iur. Philipp Egli, head of the center for social law at the ZHAW and Teresa Thürig, team leader for integration management at the AI/IV office in the Canton of Bern, will discuss about the current state of medicine and the professional reintegration of those affected by Long COVID.
