Altea's partners

Based on the recommendation of the GDK/CDS, various cantons support Altea and thus make a valuable contribution to the continued existence of the platform. Altea is currently supported by the following cantons (in alphabetical order):

Aargau, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt, Glarus, Graubünden, Lucerne, Neuchâtel, Obwalden, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Solothurn, St. Gallen, Uri, Zug, Zurich.

When people suddenly need support to cope with their everyday life, they need easy-to-use contact points and information. Pro Senectute traditionally takes on this role for the elderly. Altea offers a contact point for those affected by Long COVID. Because one in ten people over 60 who had COVID-19 is affected by Long COVID, Pro Senectute supports Altea as a partner.

As sole shareholder, the Sanitas Health Insurance Foundation holds the investments of the Sanitas Group. The Foundation implements its own projects around digitization and society and supports third-party charitable projects for health promotion and disease prevention - always focusing on Switzerland and digital elements.

As a non-profit development foundation, the Ernst Göhner Foundation supports the Altea Network because of its nationwide orientation and the quality of its content and organisation.
Altea works in an interdisciplinary manner and has pioneering character. The service of Altea provides those affected by Long COVID with access to information and assistance in their difficult situation. Altea thus fulfills the central concerns of the Foundation.

DEAR Foundation-Solidarité Suisse is committed to helping people in need in Switzerland as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our main concern is to help people to help themselves. We work with Altea because the network does just that: helping affected people deal with the long-term consequences after a COVID-19 infection.

The Swiss Lung Foundation was founded in 1988 and pursues a clear goal: to prevent and fight lung diseases through research, training, and prevention in Switzerland and abroad, and help those people who have become ill through pathogens or pollutants in the air we breathe. With the Coronavirus pandemic, the purpose of the foundation has acquired an additional dimension. Research into and combating Coronavirus aerosols in the air are of great importance today. Altea follows the core concerns of the Swiss Lung Foundation, so working with Altea makes a lot of sense.

Altea's offers should be available in all official language regions. That is why the FOPH finances the versions of the Altea website in German, French and Italian. In addition, with its commitment, the BAG also supports Altea in an ideal way and is sending a clear signal: The long-term consequences of COVID-19 must be taken seriously and those affected must be helped.
