Since the beginning of September, Altea has been financially supported by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH). Thanks to this commitment, the basic version of Altea is now also available in Italian and French.
Continuously more content
The language automatically adapts to the browser settings or can be selected manually at the top right. More guides, blogs and stories will be added to the basic version now available on an ongoing basis.
This rolling process was chosen in order to make Altea's content available as quickly as possible in the French and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland. An English language version is expected to follow in October.
"In doing so, the FOPH is sending a clear message."
Numerous letters from the French-speaking part of Switzerland and Ticino had shown that the need for information on the subject of Long COVID is high everywhere since the launch of Altea .
Michael Schlunegger, Managing Director of LUNGE ZÜRICH and founding partner of Altea, is therefore pleased about the milestone reached: "I am particularly pleased that we can now make the translations available thanks to the support of the FOPH. With this, the FOPH is sending a clear signal: The long-term effects of COVID-19 must be taken seriously and those affected must be helped."
