On May 25th, the World Health Organization (WHO) launched a compilation of innovative concepts to communicate science during the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. Indeed, the need for and importance of translating scientific content in a timely and accessible way has been highlighted in the past two years. With this compilation, WHO presents the 20 most highly rated good practice examples that make the science behind COVID-19 (and Long COVID) more accessible, understandable, and meaningful to their audiences.
Altea’s innovative nature and quality have been recognized at international level!
Following an open call, the WHO chose Altea and another 19 initiatives (among a total of 78 submissions) to showcase their creative, yet rigorous approach. The WHO team evaluated the submissions based on the following criteria:
- scientific accuracy,
- innovation factor,
- consideration of gender, equity, and human rights aspects, and
- evaluation of their impact
