"We would like to better understand the employment situation of people affected by Long COVID so that we can better support them in the important upcoming issues in the field of social insurances", the board of Long Covid Switzerland explains the purpose of the survey.
According to official figures, around 1500 Long COVID sufferers have already registered with the disability insurance. As many affected people used to be fit before they became ill, they usually did not have to deal with questions about social insurance, especially disability insurance. Therefore, they are unsure about what their rights and obligations are, what their prospects are and how their occupational integration will be.

Initial findings
Long Covid Switzerland is expecting to publish the results of the survey in early 2022. Initial questions and possible solutions will already be discussed during a Webinar on the topic on 6 December 2021. The most important findings from the webinar will be made available to the public before the end of the year in the form of a question-and-answer catalogue.
