You may have noticed that we made some small changes to the Altea website beginning of this year. You can find all blogs and stories under the Blog tab. With the new filter function, you can quickly find posts on Research & Medicine, Events, Stories, and Society & Politics.
We are very pleased that some of you have already taken part in the survey on topics you would like to see on Altea in our Forum. You can still fill out the survey until the end of January, and we look forward to receiving more feedback!
If you are not yet a member of the Altea Forum, register now to exchange ideas with other people that are affected by or interested in Long COVID!
There are new guidebooks
The Altea guidebooks include tips for everyday life. Two new guidebooks have been added this week:
The guidebook "How do I prepare for a doctor’s appointment?" provides a brief overview that can help you better prepare for consultations. On the one hand, this can help you to manage your energy and avoid crashes, on the other hand, some preparation can help you to make the most of the time available in the consultation.
In collaboration with cardiologist KD Dr. Elisabeth Weber from Stadtspital Waid in Zurich, we have developed a guidebook on palpitations (rapid or pounding heartbeat).
A guidebook with tips on dizziness will also be published shortly – so stay up to date and check our guidebooks from time to time.
We look forward to your feedback!
Your feedback is essential to help us achieve our goal! We are always happy to receive feedback on our content and the Altea website and look forward to the exchange!
