In order to provide guidance and inspiration, a meeting point will be held with lectures from the social professions involved and from the patient’s perspective. Specialists and those affected are very welcome.

When: Wednesday, March 15 2023, 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Where: Olten FHNW, Von-Roll-Strasse 10, B 125/126, first floor
Price: free
With Long COVID, specialists need to rethink.
Long COVID not only threatens patients’ physical health – cognitive, occupational, social and material resources are also affected. In order to adapt the approaches provided by social professions to the new clinical picture, specialists must now rethink their approach. The speakers will shed light on the topic from a medical, psychological and social work perspective as well as from the perspective of those affected.
- Beat Michel (Inselspital Bern)
- Natascha Vitas (Psychotherapist)
- Chantal Britt (President of an association for those affected, Long COVID Switzerland)
- Laura Schmid (Head of Social Counselling, Klinik Barmelweid).
The colloquium will be moderated by Prof. Cornelia Rüegger and Prof. Raphaela Sprenger.
Experts and other interested parties can register for the colloquium by March 13 2023 at the following email address: cornelia.rueegger@fhnw.ch
